The chord length is an essential geometric property that must be defined in the analysis of isolated joints composed hollow steel sections, as well boundary conditions test. these parameters’ effect on behavior has been addressed by other studies, mostly with between circular sections compact or semi-compact cross-sections. Recent research about tubular cases slender where design containing still development.
